Safari Float River
The city of La Fortuna is the starting point towards the Peñas Blancas river; This trip takes no more than 20 minutes.

This river has a wide segment of calm currents; therefore, you can learn and visit wildlife in a unique style, on a raft and with a paddle.

There is always the possibility of observing a great variety of animals; for example, sloths, monkeys, crocodiles, birds, frogs and more.
While we paddle along the river, our guide will provide interesting information about the flora and fauna that surrounds the river.

After an hour and a half we will arrive at Don Pedro Farm. This property on the river bank with antiques will show the lifestyle of the Costa Rican peasants. In the place you can enjoy traditional homemade sandwiches, such as: coffee, fresh water, tortilla and cheese, fresh bread, fried plantain, sour cream, etc.

The trip by the river will continue during 40 minutes more, this is until the departure point to take the minibus to return to your hotel in La Fortuna.
