On the guided tour, a professional naturalist will give you information about the names of the plants and animals that live near the slopes of the Arenal Volcano. This version of the tour usually takes a little longer since stops are made to observe the plants and animals. There are more than 350 species of birds and more than 700 plants, so you will see something new no matter where you look. Along the path you will enjoy wide views from 6 suspension bridges.

There are a couple of optional stops during the tour: you can visit the Rufous Garden to see the exotic flowers and hummingbirds or the Morpho Waterfall, named for the bright blue butterfly that flits in this area of Costa Rica.
